Students will use their knowledge and understandings of the previous lessons to create their own simple game.
Children recap some important terms discussed in this unit. The interactive whiteboard activity involves the students in reading, defining and reviewing the terms.
In small groups, the students will incorporate a variety of fundamental movement skills, including pushing and pulling skills, to create their own simple game.
Students will work with the worksheets “ Worksheet 8B Presenting Our Modified Game to the class” (Can this be reworded to Planning Our Modified Game to the Class); “Worksheet 8C Games and Sports Equipment List”;
After completion of the planning of the games, the students will participate in playing the game and teaching it to other groups. Students will compete “Worksheet 8D Games and Sports Reflections”.
